A doula is a woman trained and experienced in labour and delivery who provides emotional support and care to you and
your partner during your labour and delivery.
Benefits can include:
shorter labours, less medical intervention, decreased levels of anxiety, increased feelings of labour being a positive
experience, and empowerment of the birthing mother.
Basic Services:
Interview
Customized prenatal visits
24 hour on-call availability from 38 weeks gestation
Continuous labour support through 2 hours postpartum
nurture and protect your memory of the birth of your baby
2 postpartum visits
I do not take the place of your partner.
Unlimited Phone & Email Support
Sometimes you just need someone to talk to, and I am happy to be that person! Whatever, whenever... I'm available to you.
So what does all this cost?
Hiring a doula is definitely an investment, but it can be an integral part of creating a birth experience that you can
look back on with joy. My all-inclusive, flat rate for the services outlined above is $700. A $350 deposit is required to
put you on my calendar.
